- Lio Energy is an investment platform that develops renewable energy projects across Italy (pipeline of +4 GW currently under authorization)
- Lio DC is an investment platform that develops cloud and AI data centers (+800 MWA of grid power secured across four sites in Northern Italy)
Job Description
As a Financial Controller Analyst at Lio Energy , you will be responsible for supporting the finance function in overseeing the accounting, reporting, and financial control activities of the company. You will contribute to ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, strong compliance with regulations, and efficient monitoring of project-level and corporate financial performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring accounting, budgeting, and cash flow of Lio Energy’s project companies.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and management reports to support decision-making.
- Assisting in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and procedures.
- Coordinating with external auditors, advisors, and banks.
- Ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from a leading institution.
- +2 years of professional experience , preferably in audit - Experience with clients in the energy or infrastructure sector is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
