The Commercial Financial Analyst will partner closely with the EMEA regional commercial organization, particularly the Films and Rollstock Portfolio teams to drive revenue and EBITDA growth. The analyst will be responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate analysis about business performance, identifying profit improvement drivers, and supporting forecast, budget and medium-long range strategic planning exercises. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, the ability to simplify complex financial data for clear decision-making, and the expertise to propose corrective actions when financial performance deviates from the plan.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyse Sales (volume, price and mix) and margin performance to give adequate visibility to the sales and marketing organization of substantive issues, changes of trend or deviations from plans.
  • Facilitate Sales & Marketing Management interpretation of the relationships between revenue and margin streams.
  • Continuously enhance the capacity of the strategic sales planning model, gaining understanding of the interdependence of its key variables, including market information.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the AOP & LRVP and Strategy Plan
  • Support the Financial part of the Capital Investment Process.
  • Oversee the Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly close processes for the part relevant to the role.
  • Prepare compliance-related quarterly analytics (e.g. QoQ entity level analytics), evaluating and documenting changes in account balances and performance.

Continuously identify and implement improvements across financial processes, focusing on process automation and other repeatable, scalable efficiency efforts.

Profile

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role / business analysis.
  • Knowledge in SAP / Oracle / PowerBI is a plus.
  • strong critical thinking skills, ability to simplify complex financial data for clear decision-making, and the expertise to propose corrective actions when financial performance deviates from the plan.
