We support various practice-building approaches, allowing you to align your business with your long-term vision, whether that involves opening an office, joining a team, or becoming an advanced advisor.

Training, Licensing & Designations

Northwestern Mutual is recognized for its well-trained sales force. We are committed to your ongoing development, starting with our award-winning curriculum designed for your first three years. You will learn from industry experts, master client acquisition, and gain first-hand experience from seasoned advisors.

Licenses required include Life / Accident & Health, Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and Series 6, 7, and 63. We offer pre-payment/reimbursement for course fees and books.

  • Performance-based earnings and revenue:
  • Average annual earnings of $61K-$119K in the first three years; top advisors earn $137K-$250K

  • Additional income supports training and early development
  • Renewal income for ongoing client support

Posted Salary Range: USD $61,000 - $250,000 per year.
