Financial Accounting Controller

Our client is a medium-sized subsidiary, based in Rho, Italy, of a large multinational group headquartered in Switzerland. The company operates in the industrial automation and material handling sector, providing innovative solutions for logistics, production, and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger Accounting
2. Oversee customer billing in collaboration with the internal sales team
3. Manage monthly IAS closures and annual financial statements for group consolidation
4. Conduct quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and monthly intercompany reconciliations
5. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations with external consultants
6. Support the Transfer Pricing consultant in preparing documentation
7. Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance
8. Supervise payroll processing with support from an external provider
9. Act as the Local HR Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with labor laws
10. Serve as the Local Privacy Coordinator for data protection compliance
11. Lead and develop a small team of three finance professionals

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and IAS regulations
2. Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany reconciliations
3. Knowledge of Italian labor law and Payroll Management
4. Proficient in Excel and SAP S/4HANA; knowledge of other accounting and reporting tools is an advantage
5. Business fluency in English; good knowledge of German or French is a plus
6. Strategic leadership skills with a direct impact on business operations
7. Experience working in a multinational environment with exposure to global best practices
