Trade Accounting Specialist


Contract Role - 5months


The Trade Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing trade-related accounting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting accurate financial reporting. The role involves collaboration with Sales, Finance, and external stakeholders to maintain efficient and compliant trade spend management.


Tasks & Responsibility


  • Support the drafting of commercial agreements (writing the agreements, defining the nature of commercial items).
  • Manage and verify the compliance of accrual in SAP and Accelerate.
  • Analyze and reconcile the Net Invoice Sales shared with Sales and clients.
  • Calculate and pay out bonuses to customers, if applicable, via credit notes.
  • Analyze and verify the compliance of promotional invoices (checking the accuracy of the invoice and its alignment with the accrual created in the system. If correct, proceed to match it in SAP/Accelerate).
  • Reconcile trade spend accruals at month-end.
  • Simulate audits quarterly to anticipate and correct errors that could expose us to risk during actual audits (Trade Audit Management – TAM).



Work experience


  • Minimum 2-3 years’ working experience in Finance Controlling
  • Experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment


  • Strong system knowledge (SAP, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Fusion)
  • Excellent analytical and commercial understanding
  • Good accounting skills and advanced MS Excel proficiency
