Finance Controlling & Rptg Supervisor - Milan

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for cost planning, controlling, financial management, and analysis.
2. Work in close partnership with Line Managers and other functions to drive cost control and support the organization in achieving financial and operational goals.
3. Prepare capital investment proposals and conduct analyses.
4. Manage financial performance metrics such as sales, standard and gross margin, cash flow, and operating costs on a monthly basis.
5. Ensure that financial results for the local legal entity are accurate and comply with corporate guidelines.
6. Oversee and be responsible for the preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports according to US GAAP.
7. Act as a senior member of the controlling team, supervising other team members.
8. Participate in projects aimed at process improvement and change management.
9. Prepare ad-hoc reports and economic analyses, and develop new reports as needed by the team and organization.
10. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, establishing efficient, compliant, and well-documented processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Expected Areas of Competence

• Minimum of six years of experience in a controlling department within multinational companies.
• Degree in Economics or equivalent.
• Technical proficiency in U.S. GAAP, local requirements, and legislation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• Understanding of SAP and Hyperion systems.
• Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to manage expectations and deliver results.
• Positive attitude, inclusive working style, and effective communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
