For our important Client in the Hospitality/Leisure industry, we are looking for a professional figure as:


Finance & Controlling Manager - Hospitality/Leisure Industry

As a Finance & Controlling Manager you take on full financial and controlling responsibility for a business unit within a diverse and international environment.

You act as the central link between multiple operational areas, including Hospitality, Shipyard Operations, Mooring Services, Administration and further service units, ensuring & implementing seamless financial processes, accurate reporting, and a strong business partnering culture.


Main responsabilities:


Controlling & Reporting


  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing including analysis, commentary, and presentation to Headquarter and Management onside
  • Ongoing cost and budget control, including monitoring key operational processes
  • Prepare budgets in close collaboration with management and stakeholders
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify improvement measures
  • Build and enhance operational controlling structures on site to different areas (Hospitality, Shipyard, Mooring/Marina)


Finance & Commercial Management


  • Full commercial ownership across all finance-relevant topics
  • Alignment with local accounting and external tax advisors / auditors
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and timely financial information


Process & Interface Management


  • Design and optimize cross-functional processes between Administration, Finance, and Operations
  • Define clear responsibilities and improve communication across functions - act as a sparring partner for Operations Leaders, and HQ Finance & Controlling
  • Promote a transparent, trust-based working culture across teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to General Manager and Operations Leads across all areas
  • Provide proactive financial insights and decision-making support


Systems & Tools


  • Work with and further develop reporting and planning structures/systems (e.G., Jedox, Excel, Navis3 & ERP Infinity Zucchetti)
  • Ensure data quality and automatization in reporting processes and interfaces


Requirements:


  • University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or a related field
  • Several years of experience in Controlling or Finance Management
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to guide teams and foster a collaborative working environment
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and business drivers
  • Hands‑on mentality, strong communication skills, and ability to collaborate across functions
  • Confident working style with the ability to simplify complex issues
  • Advanced skills in Excel and experiences with BI Tools
  • Fluency in Italian & English, both written and spoken
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
