Overview

We are looking for a Finance Controller to join a dynamic Commercial Finance team within a leading media and advertising environment.

Commercial Finance plays a key role in driving business performance through strong financial governance and impactful business partnering. The team supports senior stakeholders with fast, clear, and actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and sustainable financial results.

What you’ll do

• Manage Budget, Long Range Plan (LRP), and rolling reforecast processes across On Demand revenues (owned and third-party) and operating costs.
• Monitor Brand Solutions cost expenditure and associated revenue streams.
• Own Advertising Opex month‑end activities, providing clear variance analysis and identifying risks and opportunities.
• Evaluate Opex and On Demand business cases.
• Deliver insightful ad‑hoc financial analyses, translating data into clear recommendations for decision‑making.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to Advertising and Commercial stakeholders, supporting them with robust financial guidance.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in Commercial Finance, including business partnering and budgeting/planning activities.
• Strong analytical skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to present insights effectively using PowerPoint and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience with finance systems (SAP and Hyperion preferred).
• Fluency in both Italian and English.
• Ability to work at pace in a fast‑moving, agile environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage both finance and non‑finance teams.
• A proactive mindset, with ambition and a strong desire to grow professionally.
