Finance Controller - sostituzione maternità

Position Summary

• Preparation of Monthly P&L for the reporting, forecast and compiles data for annual budget. Monitor accounting activities for the Italian site. Monitors and analyzes general ledger accounts, financial statements and reports. Work with finance teams and senior management to provide financial analysis on a regular basis to drive strategic and tactical decision-making

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monthly Closings and Reporting : Preparation of the site P&L (profit and loss account) and monthly reports for central management.
• Analysis of variances in KPIs and production metrics, including key performance indicators such as volume, ASP, unit costs, efficiencies, etc.
• Supervision and support for General Ledger/Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable. Coordination of the credit control function and necessary compliance requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Preparation of and support for the central team regarding the site’s annual budget and updating of forecasts, in collaboration with the heads of the various company departments.
• Inventory Management : Monitoring of stock levels, valuation, and analysis of obsolete stock.
• Compliance and Procedures : Verification of compliance with company procedures and accounting standards. Preparation of operational guidelines for certain business processes.
• Monitoring of capital expenditure (Capex) activities and ad hoc cost-benefit/efficiency analyses of future investments. Support for operations/supply chain through financial models and ad hoc analyses as required.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements with the support of consultants and monitoring of various compliance obligations. Management of relations with external auditors, internal audit, tax consultancy, sole statutory auditor, supervisory board and other external bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance min experience in the area
• Proficiency with current financial software
