About the Role
The Finance & Compliance Manager is responsible of all the operations related to Finance department for the Italian manufacturing and R&D site.
He/she ensures timely, qualitative and efficient design and execution of all financial accounting, reporting, business control and governance compliance requirements, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and internal rules.
He/she also supports the management team in analysis and strategy.
Main Responsibilities
1. Ensures that all financial management accounting, reporting and business control activities are executed in time and in compliance with legal and company regulations; with the support of one direct report focused on accounting tasks.
2. Manages budget, forecast and cost accounting processes. Prepares autonomously the annual statutory financial statements and the periodic analytical reports to compare budgeted to actual costs (monthly and quarterly internal reporting of P&L and Balance Sheet to management), following the group financial reporting policies and practices.
3. Analyses business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses and providing advices to management.
4. Supports the implementation of finance strategy, goals, plans, processes, tools and systems, in alignment with GM.
5. Manages the implementation and maintenance of finance and accounting policies, procedures and practices based on applicable internal financial standards.
6. Coordinates and prepares internal and external audit related to Finance and governance, ensuring compliance with required standards on financial internal controls (J-SoX, US GAAP, ITA GAAP, IFRS GAAP).
Qualifications
- University degree in Economics and Finance
Required Skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Financial Cost Accounting and the application of U.S. and IFRS, generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting rules.
- Knowledge and experience with production related variance analysis, inventory calculation and key performance indicators related to a manufacturing site.
- Proven very high reporting and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
- Working knowledge of relevant ERP systems (AS400/Look-Up as a preference).
- Proficient in Italian and English language, both written and verbal.
- Availability to work on-site (Lonato del Garda), with possibility of hybrid work model.
