Role Description:

To support our growth, we are looking for a Finance, Accounting & Controlling Specialist to strengthen our finance function and support strategic decision-making.

You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, playing a key role in financial reporting, controlling, planning, and process optimization in a SaaS environment.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including SaaS KPIs (MRR, churn, CAC, LTV)
  • Oversee cost control and expense optimization initiatives
  • Manage invoicing, accounts payable and receivable
  • Coordinate payroll activities with external providers
  • Act as the main point of contact for external accountants, tax advisors, and consultants
  • Improve and automate internal financial processes and reporting tools
  • Analyze cash flow and treasury to ensure liquidity and risk management
  • Maintain accurate pricing data and integrate updates from distribution partners


Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or finance roles , preferably in tech or SaaS companies
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS & GAAP)
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business models and financial dynamics
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software (Fatture in Cloud, QuickBooks, Xero or similar)
  • Highly analytical, precise, and detail-oriented
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain financial topics to non-financial stakeholders
  • Fluency in Italian and English
