Role Description:
To support our growth, we are looking for a Finance, Accounting & Controlling Specialist to strengthen our finance function and support strategic decision-making.
You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, playing a key role in financial reporting, controlling, planning, and process optimization in a SaaS environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including SaaS KPIs (MRR, churn, CAC, LTV)
- Oversee cost control and expense optimization initiatives
- Manage invoicing, accounts payable and receivable
- Coordinate payroll activities with external providers
- Act as the main point of contact for external accountants, tax advisors, and consultants
- Improve and automate internal financial processes and reporting tools
- Analyze cash flow and treasury to ensure liquidity and risk management
- Maintain accurate pricing data and integrate updates from distribution partners
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or finance roles , preferably in tech or SaaS companies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS & GAAP)
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models and financial dynamics
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Looker, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (Fatture in Cloud, QuickBooks, Xero or similar)
- Highly analytical, precise, and detail-oriented
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills, able to explain financial topics to non-financial stakeholders
- Fluency in Italian and English
