What you will do:
We are seeking experienced Field Technical Engineer (freelance) to join our growing team at Bitrock to provide assistance at L2 level.
What we need from you:
- Basic knowledge of languages such as Java, JavaScript, React
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB)
- Knowledge of log monitoring tools like Grafana and Kibana
- Basic knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud architectures
- Foundational knowledge of Kafka
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Ability to understand and manage SLAs
- Italian first and English language (level C1)
Tasks performed by this role during AM activities:
- Analysis of problems on interconnected applications in various modes (REST APIs, Change Data Capture, Kafka streaming)
- Read-only queries on relational and non-relational databases (no data modification)
- Non-regression and smoke testing based on pre-compiled execution plans
- Interaction with the client for problem replication
- Interaction with other work groups for problem resolution
- Constant communication with the Service Manager for criticality management
Additional Considerations:
- Available to work on shift to cover 24/7 service
- Should understand service management frameworks and ITIL processes
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and create technical documentation
- Understanding of non-regression testing and patch management
