Field Service Senior Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of High Voltage Products at customer sites in Italy and abroad. The candidate will strictly follow the health, safety & environment Hitachi Energy Standard to deliver on‑time and on‑quality service meeting customer expectations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Apply safety rules, report unsafe practices, live core values of safety and integrity.
• Perform tasks such as installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance independently; identify technical problems and conduct remote or on‑site analysis during installation and commissioning, site acceptance testing, routine maintenance, oil treatment, etc.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to customer orders and expectations; maintain good relationships with customers; coordinate, prepare, and ensure materials, parts, and equipment are available and appropriate quality for installation and commissioning activities.
• Prepare all documents and report for customer representatives; report work done in a timely manner and follow up when needed.
• Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and recommend measures to avoid repeating the problem.
• Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.

Your Background

• Technical diploma and/or degree.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English.
• Experience in a similar role inside High Voltage Products field is considered a plus.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate field technicians.
• Flexibility and problem‑solving abilities.
• Availability to travel worldwide (90–100%).
