YOUR MISSION

Serve as a cross-functional interface for handling CHEP-material within retail, ensuring reliable relationships with clients to identify customer needs and new business opportunities for CHEP.

YOUR GOALS

  • Lead Commercial Initiatives

Manage contract agreements for potential value-added services (e.g., picking), drive volume growth by converting suppliers to CHEP’s blue model (advocacy), and lead negotiations to minimize asset losses.

  • Foster Strategic Relationships

Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders at pallet receiving locations, ensuring alignment with asset productivity goals and promoting long-term collaboration.

  • Improve Collection Performance

Identify root causes of collection failures and collaborate with internal teams—including Logistics, Execution, Loss Prevention, and the Commercial team—to enhance customer experience and improve CIFOT (Customer In-Full On-Time) metrics.

  • Enhance Retailer Engagement

Conduct regular site visits and deliver targeted training to retailer staff, ensuring effective equipment control practices and boosting overall customer satisfaction.

  • Deliver Tailored Customer Projects

Propose and implement customized solutions for assigned customers, including Digital Services for pallet tracking, Collaborative Transport initiatives, and Safety-focused programs.

  • Ensure Smooth Customer Onboarding

Oversee the onboarding and implementation of new customers, establishing clear asset recovery agreements to ensure operational efficiency and a seamless transition.

  • Execute Audit Programs

Manage and perform audit activities across your account portfolio to ensure compliance with asset management standards, identify improvement opportunities, and maintain accurate audit forecasts.

  • Support Business Growth

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop innovative solutions that enhance asset recovery and contribute to the expansion of CHEP’s customer base.

  • Leverage Data for Continuous Improvement

Monitor asset control KPIs, using data insights to proactively identify gaps and implement corrective actions that drive performance improvements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience within a retail / logistics environment.
  • Analytical process improvement skills.
  • Experience in customer or supplier contact roles.
  • Background in service provision, working with customers in Retail, Wholesale, or Logistics.
  • Business-to-business sales or service experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
