Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Field Service Engineer who will focus on executing Service work according to agreed workflows and Hitachi Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Perform Service tasks, identify technical problems, and conduct analysis through remote or on-site activity across all Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.).
- Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectations.
- Create and maintain good relationships with customers and understand their needs.
- Coordinate, prepare, and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for Service activities.
- Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative.
- Troubleshoot equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
- Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities, and report unsafe practices and incidents.
Your background
- Electrotechnical diploma.
- Previous onsite experience with HV equipment.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English.
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel in Italy (>80%).
