Field Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Field Service Engineer who will focus on executing Service work according to agreed workflows and Hitachi Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Perform Service tasks, identify technical problems, and conduct analysis through remote or on-site activity across all Service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, engineering and consulting, advanced services, extensions, upgrades and retrofits, end of life services, replacements, etc.).
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectations.
• Create and maintain good relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Coordinate, prepare, and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for Service activities.
• Prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative.
• Troubleshoot equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
• Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities, and report unsafe practices and incidents.

Your background

• Electrotechnical diploma.
• Previous onsite experience with HV equipment.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel in Italy (>80%).
