Field Service Engineer – Cytiva
Join Cytiva, part of Danaher, on the forefront of life‑changing therapeutics. This remote Field Service Engineer role supports our Biotechnology Integrated Solutions team and is based in Lombardy, Italy.
Responsibilities
- Represent Cytiva to clients and promote service contracts.
- Plan and execute installation, qualification, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs at customer sites.
- Manage inventory, work orders and stock levels.
- Identify and participate in sales opportunities to support revenue programs.
Essential Requirements
- Major in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Automation or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field‑service or technical support role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- English fluency (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel 70 % of the time, including overnight stays within the territory.
Preferred Experience
- Biopharma or biotechnologies industry.
- Experience with Windows OS, PC/server, networks and databases.
Location & Work Arrangement
Remote – based in Lombardy, Italy; full‑time.
