Field Service Engineer - Italy (Bologna)

Overview

Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Italy (locations: Bologna, Verona, Milan or nearby areas). The role involves direct client interaction, on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and support for electrical equipment and battery storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of dispatched customer issues.
• Support resources dispatched onsite by RFM during commissioning and on-site services.
• Support the RFM/Project Manager during commissioning and site acceptance services.
• Deliver support and contribute service solutions for customers.
• Perform on-site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance and testing tasks, including upgrades or rework.
• Follow operational procedures, processes and practices as defined and applied.
• Follow applicable health and safety instructions and regulations.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation and work instructions for existing and upcoming service contracts.
• Support Europe Service Management by feeding back analytical service reports and suggesting corrective actions.
• Participate in the claim management and RMA process.
• Maintain service tools and calibration processes.
• Take on-call duties, including some weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Education as Electrical Technician or Engineer; knowledge of ACDC, Low/Medium voltage; understanding of electrical conduits.
• Italian and English language skills at least B2.
• Experience with Battery Storage solutions is beneficial.
• Experience dealing with customers in critical situations.
• Driving license is required.
• Health & Safety training for access to construction sites with electrical training.
• Willing to work on-call and travel (approximately 60%).
