This position focuses on supporting building performance through HVAC, security, and building‑automation systems, using connected services, data analytics, and engineering tools. The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, configuring software/hardware, and ensuring smooth installation and acceptance of service jobs. A technical foundation and the ability to work across IT, networking, and building‑control environments are essential.

Role can be based also in Emilia Romagna.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive and measurable outcomes for our customers with a focus on occupant comfort, energy consumption and building-asset performance utilizing Connected Service technologies and EBI too
  • Prepare engineering drawings and application projects specifically for Service Jobs (i.e. SLJ’s)
  • Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSL or FSS in time
  • Install EBI, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications (Smart figure)
  • Deep competence on virtual and physical environments (Hardware/Software)
  • Be ready on the job site during temporary or final acceptance of Service Jobs ability to carry out teamwork with local and foreign teams to have effective problem solving and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to identify evolutionary initiatives to be evaluated from time to time in terms of applicability and costs
  • Predisposition to the understanding of the HVAC and SECURITY field processes to be able to have a knowledge such manage the analytical part of the proposed role.

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or professional qualification in engineering or a related technical field (HVAC, Security, Controls, IoT).
  • Hands‑on experience servicing HVAC systems (plus Fire, Security, Access, or Alarm systems).
  • Strong understanding of HVAC processes, building‑automation controls, and standard protocols.
  • Knowledge of ICT, networking, IoT, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand switching.
  • Strong fault‑finding skills, communication abilities, and customer‑facing professionalism.
  • Fluent English and ability to work in dynamic, evolving technical environments.
