Field Service Engineer

IMS Technologies is a leading reference in the design and manufacturing of custom machines for the Converting, Packaging, and Flexible Packaging sectors. The company is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to support and maintain its clients’ machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrical and software interventions at the client site, from fault diagnosis to repair and component replacement.
• Perform initial startup of the plant to evaluate any residual issues.
• Verify availability of technical documentation and necessary parts for the intervention.
• Document the intervention with a detailed report, noting activities performed and any problems found.
• Collect on‑site requests for improvements or additional interventions, including specific training requests.
• Coordinate with engineering to share issues and provide feedback for machine performance improvements.
• Conduct onsite training for the client’s dedicated personnel.

Qualifications

• Diploma technical or degree in electronic engineering/automation.
• Excellent PLC knowledge.
• Mechanical knowledge.
• Good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel, especially abroad (approximately 100‑130 days per year).
