For our own projects, we are looking for a Field Engineering Manager to join for an oil & gas project in Priolo (SR), Italy.
MISSION
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all field engineering activities during the execution phase of an onshore industrial project. The role ensures that construction and engineering works are properly integrated, technical issues are efficiently resolved, and project documentation is developed and updated in line with Italian regulations and client standards.
TASKS
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary field engineering teams to support construction activities and resolve site technical queries.
- Ensure full compliance of engineering deliverables with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
- Interface with project engineering, construction, procurement, and quality departments to guarantee alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Manage the review and approval of technical documents, field design changes, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate with Italian subcontractors, ensuring adherence to local execution practices and regulatory obligations.
- Provide engineering input to work packages, construction sequences, and schedule optimization.
- Monitor engineering progress, report deviations, and propose corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality objectives.
- Promote and enforce project HSE policies throughout all site engineering activities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in field engineering or construction management within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy sectors.
- Proven experience with STOGIT and/or Snam Rete Gas projects in Italy is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of Italian construction laws, permitting processes, and engineering standards.
- Experience in managing and coordinating multiple Italian subcontractors, including scheduling, quality control, and progress tracking.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluent level of Italian is mandatory.

Working Hours: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week
Contract Duration: 12 months
