POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented MES Field Engineer to join our team and provide on-site services worldwide. The role involves installation, activation, and technical support of PARVIS systems at customer sites, with a specific focus on MES systems. The position also includes office-based activities at our Milan headquarters.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform on-site installation, activation, and production start-up of PARVIS systems.
  • Train customer personnel on system functionalities.
  • Tailor system features to meet specific customer needs.
  • Provide technical support both on-site and remotely, in collaboration with the internal PARVIS teams to provide effective customer support.
  • Analyze issues and ensure effective resolution of technical problems.
  • Document all activities using the ticketing system (Salesforce) and prepare intervention reports.
  • Implement approved system modifications and software upgrades.
  • Collaborate with R&D and validation teams to test new releases and functionalities.
  • Support system integration and FAT prior to delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Minimum work experience of 1 years in a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in IT environments.

TECHNICAL AND SOFT SKILLS

  • Proficiency in MS Windows 7/10/11 and Windows Server.
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, IIS, FTP, WebConfig.
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and protocols (DHCP, IP, Switch, Router).
  • Ability to test and troubleshoot PLCs, analog and digital circuits.
  • Hands-on attitude in electrical systems and automation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of client organizations.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of a second language (German or French) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice.
  • Knowledge of printing processes and image processing techniques is considered a plus.
