Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Application Engineer to support our Direct-to-Garment and Direct-to-Fabric product lines across Southern Europe. You will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with customers, internal teams, and partners to ensure successful implementation, optimization, and support of our digital printing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for customers regarding systems and applications.
• Provide guidance on workflows, system applications, and best practices.
• Support customers remotely and on-site to ensure satisfaction.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and workflow issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address technical challenges.
• Conduct live demonstrations of Kornit's digital printing capabilities.
• Train end-users on system operation, maintenance, and optimization.
• Lead deployment activities including installation, calibration, and integration.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Analyze production processes and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, printing technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in digital printing or related technical fields.
• Strong understanding of prepress workflows and file preparation.
• Proficiency in color science, spectrophotometry, and calibration tools.
• Experience with RIP software such as ColorGate, Caldera, Inedit.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Understanding of textile substrates and finishing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Southern Europe (80% minimum).
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
