Responsibilities

• Conduct lifing analysis for aerospace components and systems to determine their operational lifespan and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information for lifing analysis.
• Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to perform stress and fatigue analysis on components.
• Develop and maintain lifing models and databases to support ongoing analysis and decision-making processes.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to component lifing and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated with industry standards and best practices related to lifing analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Fluent English and Italian, both oral and written
• Strong interpersonal skills and international team-working attitude
• Experience in fatigue and fracture mechanics
• Knowledge of fatigue crack growth simulations basis
• Base knowledge of finite element modelling
• Experience with Matlab
• Knowledge of Ansys finite element software would be advantageous
