Lifing Analysis Engineer
Job location: Turin area
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lifing Analysis Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a leading provider of engineering solutions in the Aerospace and Defense industry, we are dedicated to delivering innovative and reliable solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct lifing analysis for aerospace components and systems to determine their operational lifespan and performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather necessary data and information for lifing analysis.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to perform stress and fatigue analysis on components.
- Develop and maintain lifing models and databases to support ongoing analysis and decision‑making processes.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to component lifing and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated with industry standards and best practices related to lifing analysis.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Fluent English and Italian, both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and international team‑working attitude
- Experience on fatigue and fracture mechanics
- Knowledge of fatigue crack growth simulations basis
- Base knowledge of finite element modelling
- Experience with Matlab
- Knowledge of Ansys finite element software would be advantageous
