Leadership and Business Continuity

  • Ensure the smooth daily operation of the boutique, upholding excellence in management, stock optimization, and performance metrics.

  • Lead and coordinate all boutique activities, aligning with the yearly roadmap, the House strategy, and the Fashion Europe operational strategy, while effectively communicatingobjectivesand plans to the teams.

  • Provide stability and clear direction, fostering a motivating and positive work environment that encourages engagement and collaboration across allteams.

  • Develop and execute the boutique’s annual business plan, proactivelyidentifyingopportunities for improvement and addressing business challenges.

  • Oversee commercial, client, financial, and budgetary indicators, ensuringaccuratemonitoring, reporting, and sustainable growth.

  • Drive business growth by developing and coordinating sales initiatives to achieve and exceed commercial and clientobjectiveswithin defined budgets and action plans.

  • Demonstrate agility in responding to market dynamics, evolving client expectations, and internal priorities.

  • Supervise both front- and back-office teams: communicate policies,monitorobjectives, nurture team spirit, share knowledge, and support both collective and individual development.

  • Activelyparticipatein the management team, promoting collaboration and shared responsibility.

Client Experience and BrandRepresentation

  • Uphold CHANEL’shigh standardsof luxury retail, ensuring excellent and personalized client service that creates unique experiences for each guest.

  • Reinforce and developclientelingstrategies,maintainstrong relationships with key clients and implement the Client Engagement plan to foster deep, authentic, and growing connections—both in-person and digitally—while embodying CHANEL’s spirit of elegance and discretion.

  • Act as a true brand ambassador, consistently reflecting and communicating CHANEL’s heritage, values, and vision inside and outside the boutique.

  • Capture the essence of each collection in the buying assortment, ensuring alignment with budget, guidelines, and the Boutique Buying Strategy.

  • Elevate theboutique’saesthetic appeal through inspirational visual merchandising, promoting close collaboration between Visual Merchandising and all boutique teams.

  • Utilize marketing, events, and services to enrich client journeys, continuouslymonitoringand responding to outcomes to drive engagement and loyalty.

Team Support and Development

  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team, supporting boutiqueobjectiveswhilemaintaininga positive and collaborative environment.

  • Strengthen the leadership team, empoweringmanagersand preparing future leaders.

  • Guide the team through periods of change, fostering clarity, communication, and engagement.

Key Competencies & Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing the local clientele.

  • At least10years of experience as a Boutique Director or in a similar leadership role.

  • Excellent spoken and written Italianand Englisharerequired; French language skills are a plus.

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive business results.

  • Experience in delivering outstanding client service and building long-term client relationships.
