As we expand our operations, we're looking for a hands-on and motivated Facility Specialist & Warehouse Operations to join our team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly from building management to client service delivery.
Main activities
Facility Management
- Oversee daily management and maintenance of warehouse facilities and machinery, ensuring full operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with external suppliers and service providers
- Monitor building systems (electrical, fire safety, security), ensuring proper functioning and adherence to current regulations
- Manage relationships with landlords, tenants, consultants, and technical partners
- Support space planning, layout optimization, and facility improvement initiatives
- Ensure workplace H&S standards are met and actively contribute to a safe working environment
Logistics & Service Delivery
- Act as the main point of contact between the client and the warehouse, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations through daily alignments, back-office coordination, and front-office support
- Track warehouse productivity KPIs, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions when needed
- Participate in continuous improvement and startup projects for new clients, including process mapping, SOP development, and operational auditing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management engineering (strongly considered as a plus) or equivalent experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Italian and English language skills
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills and synthesis ability
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (good Excel skills are mandatory)
- Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions
- Knowledge of accounting, warehouse inventory, logistic processes and documentation is preferable
