Your Role
The resource will be part of the HSE & Facility team at the HQ and will be responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance activities of buildings and company equipment, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with current regulations. The position involves coordinating external suppliers and internal resources, supervising maintenance activities, and managing/developing projects aimed at improving company facilities, equipment, and processes.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external suppliers and the internal maintenance team.
- Manage maintenance and innovation projects, specifically planning and overseeing renovation, improvement, and optimization projects for company infrastructures, systems, and equipment.
- Support the implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions for energy efficiency and for the improvement of business processes and areas.
- Support the management of activities required to ensure the efficiency of security systems (video surveillance, access control, etc.).
- Plan and monitor maintenance activities, recording their completion and following up with any corrective and/or improvement actions.
- Plan, monitor, and ensure legally required periodic inspections and checks of company infrastructures, systems, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (Legislative Decree 81/08, Machinery Directive, Fire Safety Regulations, AUA, Legislative Decree 152/06, etc.).
- Support Group HSE management and certification activities.
- Manage company maintenance activities, facilities, and contracts, both ordinary and extraordinary.
- Support the implementation activities of the new SAP management system related to maintenance processes.
- Monitor KPIs and perform related analysis.
Skills & Competencies
- Experience on facility management activities and on main technical systems.
- Knowledge of the main regulations related to environmental protection and workplace health and safety.
- Basic knowledge of management systems based on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Good level of English language.
- Good knowledge of the main IT tools and technical design software (Outlook, Excel, Power BI, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Strong aptitude for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Required Experience
Previous experience of at least 5 years in a similar role is preferred, ideally within well-structured companies in the metalworking/mechanical engineering sector.
Required Education
Technical diploma and/or a degree in technical or scientific disciplines.
