Facilities Manager – Italy | Fitness & Wellness Multinational
Grafton is delighted to partner with a global leader in the fitness & wellness industry to find their next Regional Facilities Manager for the Italian market.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing multinational opening a brand‑new flagship center in Milan , while overseeing existing and upcoming locations across Central and Northern Italy.

As the Regional Facilities Manager, you’ll be the go‑to expert ensuring all centers are perfectly maintained, fully operational, and compliant . You’ll manage incidents across the portfolio, lead annual CAPEX initiatives, build strong internal relationships, and provide weekly structured reporting to HQ.
Because many centers include pool areas , experience with water treatment systems and aquatic environments is essential.
You’ll travel across Italy (and occasionally European HQ), combining on‑site support with digital troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Own incident and case management through SIGE21
- Develop and implement facility operation strategies for each center
- Prepare annual audits, budgets, and facility improvement plans
- Oversee energy monitoring and propose optimization measures
- Manage CAPEX refurbishment projects
- Build and maintain a network of suppliers and service partners
- Support pre‑opening and post‑opening activities for new centers
- Provide both remote and on‑site technical assistance
- Ensure compliance with all Italian regulations related to building assets
Technical Expertise Required
- Engineering degree with strong experience in HVAC, water treatment, swimming pools, BMS , low‑voltage systems, thermal production, and fire safety
- Knowledge of DHW systems, Legionella prevention, filtration and chemical dosing
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving mindset
- Italian native; English C1 ; Spanish is a plus
- Experience in high‑traffic public buildings is highly valued
