Extracurricular Internship – Finance Department

Philogen S.p.A. is looking for a motivated recent graduate to join the Finance Team through an extracurricular internship .

The selected candidate will take part in a structured rotational training path across the main areas of the Finance Department, including Accounting, Treasury, Consolidation, and Controlling . He or she will work closely with the managers of the various functions, including at subsidiary level, under the direct supervision of the CFO .

The aim of the internship is to provide a comprehensive and cross-functional understanding of the Finance Department, allowing the candidate to gain hands-on experience in key administrative, financial, and controlling processes. At the end of the internship, the candidate may be considered for placement in the area that best matches their skills, aptitudes, and potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and finance activities;
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation;
• Work alongside the Finance Team during month-end and year-end closing activities;
• Contribute to the activities of the different areas within the department through a structured learning and development path.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics, preferably with a focus on Accounting or Business Administration ;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
• Good organizational skills;
• Good command of English.
