Explosive Engineering Specialist

The position is based at our Production Plant in Sardinia (Domusnovas, SU) working with our Explosive Engineering Team and in order to perform the main activities, to role also implies regular traveling towards our Head Quarters in Ghedi (BS).
The role will give you the opportunity to work with our experts in chemical- explosive technical processes, so you as well will be responsible for the following operations:
Role and Responsibilities
- Evaluation/analysis of warhead designs, explosive trains, selection of energetic materials to achieve specified effects, etc.;
- Preparation of technical documentation (e.g. test plans and reports, technical reports, specifications);
- When required, carry out laboratory analyses on inert or explosive materials;
- Interface with and support the other functions within RDE, and other functions (e.g. PRD, GQA, GPM, BDS) as required.
Essential skills required:
- Higher education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
- Intermediate to advanced level of English and Italian
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel is a must)
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, clear communication
- Willing to relocate if needed and to travel between the company's different locations (Turin, Rome, Cagliari).
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of SAP (nice to have)
- Willingness to learn and professional development
- Previous experience (internship, traineeship) would be an advantage
