We’re hiring Italian-speaking Mechanical Fitters ready to relocate to Malta and bring their expertise to a leading shipyard.

If you're hands-on, experienced, and looking for a fresh start — Malta is calling.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take the lead on engine overhauls, turbocharger servicing, and deck machinery repairs
• Overhaul pumps, compressors, hydraulic cylinders, and other rotary equipment
• Operate lathes, milling machines, CNC, and grinders for precision component fabrication
• Ensure full compliance with SOLAS , MARPOL , LOTO , and confined space regulations
• Supervise and mentor technicians to deliver high-quality work on time
• Keep accurate technical reports and documentation for inspections and surveys

What You Bring:

• Strong expertise in marine mechanical systems & machining
• Solid skills in hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision tools
• Knowledge of classification standards (DNV, ABS, Lloyd’s)
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities under pressure

Preferred Certifications:

• Marine Engineering or Mechanical Trade Diploma
• STCW & HSE safety certifications
• Welding or machining accreditations a plus
