This call is open to freelance professionals legally authorized to invoice for services to support the implementation of the EU-funded project iMonitor 2.0, who will operate in close synergy with the Italian Monithon Europe ETS team and partner organizations, particularly within the Work Package dedicated to training civic monitors and supporting the analysis of public projects in the field of construction and small infrastructure.

Practical information:

  • Freelance professionals legally authorized to invoice for services only
  • Work location: Remote
  • Work language: English
  • Availability: Immediate, until end 2025. 10-15 working days, depending on seniority.
  • Participation in project activities: Availability to participate in organizational and operational online meetings is required.
  • Provisional gross budget: Up to €5,000.
  • Application Deadline: August, 31st 2025 at 11:59 PM CEST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized consultancy related to corruption risks in public procurement concerning construction and small infrastructure projects, such as: public contracts related to the construction or renovation of public buildings, of civic centers, the redevelopment and energy efficiency of smaller public buildings, the creation of urban cycling paths, or small interventions on water and/or sewage networks.
  • Collaborate with the working group to create informational and training materials on corruption risks in these sectors.
  • Ensure alignment of new training materials with existing resources from the iMonitor project.
  • Support the integration of related questions into online reporting tools, translating complex technical concepts into accessible tools for non-experts.
