We are looking for a qualified and experienced professional to join our Operations Team as an Expediter. The role is focused on expediting orders by closely monitoring suppliers’ manufacturing progress, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supporting project execution.
The Expediter collaborates with Project Teams, Quality, Logistics, and Suppliers, and reports directly to the Expediting Department Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned purchase orders, ensuring their execution in compliance with contractual conditions and in coordination with the Expediting Department Manager
Monitor suppliers’ progress remotely, ensure timely submission of progress reports, track delivery schedules, and update the company management systems
Organize and attend suppliers’ workshop visits to verify manufacturing progress
Prepare and issue visit and expediting reports, identifying delays, non‑conformities, or critical issues, and propose corrective actions to prevent schedule impacts
Provide regular updates and feedback to Project Teams and Management on suppliers’ performance and progress
Promptly report any critical issues or production deviations to Project Managers
Facilitate the exchange of missing or incomplete technical and commercial information between internal departments and suppliers
Coordinate with the Quality Engineer to properly plan and execute inspection and testing activities
Verify temporary packaging and quantities to be shipped
Coordinate material pick‑up dates with the Logistics Department
Coordinate incoming materials with the Material Manager and warehouse
Ensure that subcontracted materials are delivered to suppliers on time
What we ask for
High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Experience in a similar role
Basic knowledge of materials and their properties used in engineering and manufacturing processes
Strong planning and reporting skills, including the ability to schedule expediting activities and prepare effective reports
Knowledge of logistics processes, including materials handling, packaging, shipping, Incoterms, international documentation, customs and insurance regulations
Knowledge of CRM and/or ERP systems (e.g. SAP), MS Office, and in-house developed software
Technical Skills
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and datasheets for plants or machinery
Knowledge of packaging and transportation systems for domestic and international deliveries
Knowledge of quality requirements for mechanical and electrical components (e.g. ASME, Eurocodes, PED, ISO)
Knowledge of welding disciplines and painting systems is considered a plus
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 40.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process.
