Events & Experiences Host (On-call)

YellowSquare is looking for an Events & Experiences Host !

We are seeking an energetic, charismatic, and outgoing personality to join our team. As an Events & Experiences Host , you won’t just run activities—you’ll be responsible for bringing our events to life and crafting unforgettable moments for our guests. This role is about being the heartbeat of the hostel: ensuring our travelers don’t just stay with us, but truly connect, have fun, and feel part of the global YellowSquare community.

What you’ll do:

• Lead & Inspire: Organize and host a variety of social experiences, from legendary quiz nights and karaoke to tournaments and creative mini-challenges.


• Build Community: Actively create opportunities for guests to meet, break the ice, and form lasting connections.


• Innovate: Propose and co-design fresh daytime and evening event formats that keep the YellowSquare vibe ahead of the curve.


• Take the Stage: Host with a microphone, presenting confidently and engaging diverse, international crowds with ease.


• Collaborate: Work closely with the bar and reception teams to ensure every experience runs smoothly from start to finish.


• Work the Room: Be the ultimate host—moving through the crowd to ensure every guest, from the loudest to the shyest, feels included and welcomed.

What you’ll bring:

• Vibrant Energy: High vibes, a positive attitude, and a proactive, hands-on approach.


• Stage Presence: Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead a crowd and host events with flair.


• Global Mindset: A friendly, welcoming personality, comfortable interacting with people from all corners of the world.


• Languages: Fluency in spoken English is a must (Italian and other languages are a big plus!).


• Professionalism: Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to manage group dynamics effectively.


• Flexibility: Availability for evening and weekend events, fitting perfectly with our on-call schedule.
