Location


This position is based at the Basso Bikes headquarters in San Zenone degli Ezzelini, Treviso, Italy.


Role and Mission


As the Events and Ambassador Program Manager, you will work in the marketing office at the goal of amplifying the Basso brand's visibility in Europe and the United States. Your role will be crucial for building high-level relationships with our athletes and brand ambassadors and executing impactful events across key markets.


Key Responsibilities


1. Event Management & Brand Activation
  • Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of engaging Basso events (e.g., expos, consumer demo rides, key consumer experiences) in line with marketing goals and strategy.
  • Lead Generation: Organize focused data collection and lead generation activities at events to capture valuable customer insights and expand our database.
  • Coordination: Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless event execution and logistics.
  • Analysis and Optimization: Evaluate the success of each event through defined KPIs and provide detailed reports with concrete recommendations for continuous improvement.


2. Athlete & Ambassador Program Leadership
  • Strategy and Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and manage athletes and brand ambassadors who perfectly align with our marketing strategy, to effectively cover key markets across Europe and the United States.
  • Engagement and Amplification: Cultivate high-level relationships with ambassadors and athletes to amplify brand awareness and drive engagement within our target audiences.
  • Activation: Develop and implement customized activation strategies for athletes and ambassadors, optimized for specific regions and demographics, maximizing their impact and media coverage.


3. Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Track and analyze the performance of events and athlete/ambassador activations using precise metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports and strategic insights to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and support data-driven decisions for plan optimization.


Required Qualifications


  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in event management and ambassador/athlete program management, preferably within the activewear, cycling, or outdoor industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1/C2 level).
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Digital Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms is a plus.
  • Passion: A demonstrable passion for cycling and familiarity with the cycling community are highly desirable.
