About Amfas International

Amfas International is a global manufacturing and supply chain partner specializing in sourcing custom‑engineered metal and plastic components for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) customers. We support complex CNC machining, injection molding, die casting, sheet metal fabrication, extrusions, and assemblies across multiple regions.

Amfas has an established and growing footprint in India, China, and Mexico, and we are now expanding our solutions into the European commercial and manufacturing network to better serve US based OEM customers and leverage evolving Europe–India trade dynamics.

Role Summary

Amfas is seeking a senior, highly strategic individual in Europe to own both sides of the value equation:

  1. Business Development – identifying and developing relationships with large OEM customers in Europe that require custom-engineered manufacturing solutions for Amfas to supply.
  2. Strategic Sourcing & Network Development – Developing a high-quality, export-ready European manufacturing ecosystem of suppliers to manufacture products for Amfas’ customers.

This role is ideal for a seasoned manufacturing professional, commercial leader, or independent consultant who understands how to sell manufacturing capability , design regional supply strategies, and build long-term partnerships with OEMs and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (Customer Facing)

  • Identify and engage OEMs in industrial, energy, automotive, medical, and equipment sectors.
  • Act as a commercial and technical front‑end for Amfas in Europe.
  • Lead early-stage discussions around manufacturability, regional sourcing strategy, and cost structure.
  • Translate OEM requirements into multi-region supply strategies (Europe + Asia + US + Mexico).
  • Collaborate with Amfas Sales and Engineering to shape RFQs and proposals (not just collect quotes).

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Network Development

  • Identify, qualify, and develop European manufacturing partners capable of exporting to the US and Mexico.
  • Focus on anchor suppliers , not transactional vendor lists.
  • Drive supplier qualification at a strategic level , including capability assessment and quality readiness.
  • Support the operations team in purchasing or expediting.

Market & Partnership Strategy

  • Monitor trade, cost, and regional dynamics impacting global manufacturing.
  • Advise Amfas leadership on where Europe adds value compared to other regions.
  • Build long-term partnerships with OEMs and manufacturers.

What This Role Is NOT

  • Not a purchasing clerk or buyer
  • Not a quote chaser
  • Not an ERP or PO execution role
  • Not a junior sourcing or procurement position
  • Candidates whose background is primarily tactical purchasing or operational buying will not be successful.

Ideal Candidate Profile

·        10+ years of experience in contract manufacturing, OEM supply chains, or industrial business development

·        Demonstrated experience selling manufacturing capability, not just managing suppliers

·        Deep network within European manufacturing clusters (CNC machining, molding, casting, fabrication)

·        Strong understanding of export manufacturing for the global market

·        Comfortable operating independently with senior‑level autonomy

·        Fluent in English; additional European languages strongly preferred

·        Willing to travel within Europe up to 50% of the time

·        Lives and operates from Europe (Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey; open to other cost-competitive European regions)

Consultant

Amfas is open to consultants, advisors, or fractional leaders with established networks who prefer a flexible engagement model with upside tied to results.
