Europe Seed Quality Supply Lead

Position Purpose

The Europe Seed Quality Supply Lead ensures Corteva’s European seed supply chain delivers high-quality products through robust quality systems, efficient allocation strategies, and strong cross‑functional collaboration. The role drives continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while supporting strategic growth in the European seed market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Strategy & Systems Leadership
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) across European Seed Operations.
  • Ensure alignment with global standards and certifications (ISTA, ETS, ISO).
  • Promote a culture of compliance, customer focus, and operational excellence.
  • Product Characterization & Usage Decisions
  • Determine product usage based on quality results and batch performance.
  • Lead decision‑making on marginal batches and manage recall processes.
  • Monitor customer feedback and drive corrective actions.
  • Supply Allocation & Inventory Optimization
  • Develop and execute allocation strategies balancing supply risk and commercial priorities.
  • Enable Area‑to‑Area supply swaps and optimize constrained product availability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of supply changes to stakeholders.
  • Medium‑Term Planning & Segmented Production Input
  • Consolidate demand signals to support packaging, treating, and segmented production.
  • Provide direction on blends, experimental lots, and new seed treatments.
  • Align supply flexibility with cost‑efficiency and operational feasibility.
  • Compliance & Certification Management
  • Oversee audits and ensure compliance with European regulations and standards.
  • Maintain documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies on seed law and phytosanitary standards.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Development
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing European quality team.
  • Drive talent development, performance management, and innovation culture.
  • Promote cross‑crop best practices and shared reporting tools.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Seed Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in the seed industry — ideally in seed production, quality, testing, or supply chain functions.
  • Proven ability to manage regional quality operations and multicultural teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
  • Expertise in quality metrics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Deep understanding of seed physiology, testing methodologies, and European regulatory frameworks.
