Mission

The Information Technology Director for Europe holds a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of robust, high-performing, and secure IT operations across a diverse geographical landscape, encompassing the whole Europe Region. This multifaceted position demands a strategic leader capable of aligning IT strategy with the distinct regional business requirements and demands while remaining synchronized with the broader global organizational goals.

A fundamental and integral component of this position is providing visionary leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the IT team, fostering an environment conducive to professional growth and development. This encompasses a wide range of personnel management duties, including the strategic recruitment and onboarding of talented individuals, the provision of ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge, the implementation of effective retention strategies to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce, and the execution of regular performance management processes to ensure accountability and drive excellence. The IT Director must cultivate a collaborative and productive team culture, empowering individuals to contribute their best work and achieve shared objectives.

Main Responsibilities

The IT Director will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Overseeing all IT operations for the Europe region
  • Developing and implementing IT strategies that align with Regional and Global business objectives.
  • Managing the IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Leading and developing the IT team within the region.
  • Ensuring compliance with Corporate IT policies and regulations.
  • Managing IT projects and ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to regional teams.
  • Maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and security


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • MBA/Master or equivalent is highly desired
  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in the Europe region.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and information security.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and projects effectively.
  • Experience with IT compliance and regulations.
  • Travel availability (about 25% time) within the Europe region (Mainly: Italy, Germany, France, Slovakia, Poland and Romania)
  • Fluent English
