We need high-quality finance professionals who can operate with pace, judgement, and strong standards in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Role purpose

This is a management accounting role supporting close, reporting, and analysis across multiple European entities. The scope is broad and will shift based on workload and priorities. You will work across SAP S/4HANA, Excel, internal stakeholders, and external accountants to produce consistent and reliable management reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver month-end close activities for assigned areas, including journals, day to day accounting tasks (bookkeeping of group companies in which the person is responsible), accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare management reporting inputs, validation checks, and variance explanations.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and internal teams to collect data, resolve gaps, and improve the quality of outputs.
  • Maintain documentation standards, checklists, and an audit-ready evidence pack.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA routines (posting discipline, master data, reporting extracts) and improve Excel-based working files.
  • Support ad-hoc finance projects such as process improvements, reporting enhancements, and data clean-up.

Candidate profile

  • Strong all-round accountant who wants breadth and responsibility in a scale-up environment.
  • Comfortable working across multiple entities and priorities, with limited supervision.
  • Able to work through messy inputs and create clear outputs.

Essential skills and experience

  • 3–6 years’ relevant experience in accounting, close, and reporting roles (management accounting exposure preferred).
  • Strong fundamentals: accruals, reconciliations, schedules, and variance analysis.
  • ERP experience, SAP S/4HANA preferred. Strong Excel.
  • Strong English. Italian required for Milan.
  • Clear communicator, confident working across finance, FP&A, and the business.
