In this context, Liquigas is looking for an Ethics & Compliance Officer , who will be responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Ethics & Compliance system at the local level, in line with SHV Group policies, its values, and applicable regulatory requirements.

This role serves as a key partner to management, ensuring ethical business conduct, regulatory compliance, and fostering a strong culture of integrity across the organization.

This role reports directly to the Legal Officer and has a dotted-line reporting relationship to Group Ethics & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain SHV Energy Ethics & Compliance policies, standards, and procedures at the local level.

- Ensure alignment with SHV values, the SHV Energy Code of Conduct, and global compliance requirements.

- Serve as the local point of contact for ethics and compliance matters.

- Support and conduct periodic compliance risk assessments (e.g., anti-corruption, antitrust, sanctions, conflicts of interest, data privacy, AI).

- Monitor compliance risks and controls, proposing remediation actions where gaps are identified.

- Provide day-to-day ethics and compliance advice to management and business functions.

- Support decision-making by assessing compliance risks in commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives.

- Develop and deliver ethics and compliance training programs tailored to local needs and Group requirements.

- Promote awareness of the SHV Energy Code of Conduct and ethical behavior across the organization.

- Foster a strong "speak-up" culture and manage the local speak-up process in coordination with Group Ethics & Compliance.

- Support or conduct internal investigations, ensuring confidentiality, fair hearing, impartial review, and proper documentation.

- Advise on corrective and disciplinary actions where required, in cooperation with HR and Legal.

- Report regularly on compliance activities, incidents, and key risk indicators to the Legal Officer and Group Ethics & Compliance Officer.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- University degree, preferably in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- At least 5 years experience in similar roles.

- Experience working within matrix organizations and interacting with Group-level functions.

- Strong integrity, independence, and sound judgment.

- Critical thinker with the ability to challenge perspectives independently of the hierarchy.

- Ability to translate complex regulations into practical business guidance.

- ‎Influencing skills and ability to adapt the communication to different organizational levels.

- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.

- Fluency in English and Italian.
