Description The IT Project Manager handles one or more IT projects from initial design through to delivery, ensuring optimal results that meet the requirements defined by the business project owner or client in terms of quality, performance, cost, timeline, and system security.
For this specific position, the activity will be within the ICT Enlarged Europe Manufacturing Team and will focus on Equipment Monitoring processes and tools.
Main mission Organize and manage the project(s):
Collect business needs by interacting with the relevant business functions Organize the project launch by preparing the business case. Define the project organization. Support requirements definition and propose optimal solutions. Organize decision-making committees and ensure proper reporting. Manage change requests (budget and schedule impacts). Define the technical design and produce detailed specifications. Participate in software/package selection. Contribute to development or system integration activities. Define testing strategy and participate in validation phases. Budget allocation
Drive project execution:
Organize, coordinate, and lead the IT project team. Resolve conflicts between stakeholders. Ensure the quality of deliverables and validations. Communicate effectively with the project team. Version Testing User training
Deploy projects:
Roll out the application or service. Technical support Troubleshooting Ensure the transition to maintenance (run phase). Provide visibility on maintenance costs.
Manage supplier relationships:
Ensure proper execution from contract signature through final project validation.
Key responsabilities Ensure compliance with project management methodologies. Be accountable for the technical content of the project(s). Ensure the best balance between quality, cost, and timeline. Relationships with: Business Project Manager, IT Partners and Suppliers / Service providers.
Knowledge & skills Bachelor’s degree with experience (3/5 years) or Master’s degree. Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM). IT technical skills (Unix & friends, Oracle / PostgreSQL, Java & frameworks) Manufacturing knowledge (complex manufacturing environments preferred): Main MFG KPIs (OEE, OLE, OPE, ), Machine Monitoring tools, Machine monitoring principles Industrial Communication Systems Strong knowledge of industrial communication with shop floor systems, including integration with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). PLC Communication Protocols: Proficiency in proprietary PLC communication protocols such as: Rockwell – RSLinx, Siemens – SIMATIC NET Experience with standard industrial communication protocols, including: OPC DA (Data Access), OPC UA (Unified Architecture), MQTT(s) (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport – secure), UDT (User-Defined Types). Ability to design, configure, and manage data exchange formats and messaging structures, including: JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), XML (eXtensible Markup Language), CSV (Comma-Separated Values). English proficiency: minimum B2 level.
Offer Salary range: from 39 € to 43 €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements. Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the (first / second / third) professional area.
