The Equipment Inspectors are part of our Detailed Equipment Information (DEI) team, responsible for performing accurate and thorough visual inspections and functional testing on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and verify equipment inventory information (e.g., contract proofs, additions, serial numbers).
• Identify and record equipment components, accessories, and asset details.
• Verify equipment descriptions based on our Equipment Standards Manual.
• Ensure the quality of equipment data and related information.
• Verify warranty applicable items and related requirements.
• Compose and take photos of the equipment.
• Provide assistance to the DEI team as needed.
• Assist the Sales team with appraisals and write‑ups in the field between peak periods.
• Promote a culture where the health and safety of employees and customers is a top priority.
• Support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: send everyone home each day by taking personal responsibility for safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Italian and/or English.
• Prior experience in equipment management (inspections, inventory, appraisals) or inventory control, preferably in the auction or heavy equipment business.
• Knowledge of industrial and/or agricultural equipment, trucks and trailers.
• Proficiency using computers and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and digital cameras.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including use of two‑way radio and desk phone.
• Good penmanship for clear writing and printing.
• Excellent organizational skills, keen eye for detail, and commitment to accuracy.
• Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Strong time‑management skills to multitask and prioritize work.
