What does an EHS Specialist do?

As a Quality and EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations meet both corporate and local Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, as well as quality control requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with site functions—especially department supervisors, maintenance, and engineering—and work with external consultants to design, implement, and continuously improve programs that prevent incidents and ensure compliance with regulations such as D.Lgs. 81/08 and D.Lgs. 152/06.

You will also play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), conducting lab tests, auditing raw materials and finished goods, and driving corrective actions in partnership with the Process and Production teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a Technical Discipline (Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or equivalent).
  • Professional Qualification as ASPP for ATECO 5 sector.
  • Proben experience as ASPP and/or EHS Coordinator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) and internet search tools.
