The Green Recruitment Company is in the search of an Environmental Engineer to support environmental permitting and development activities for Solar and Onshore wind projects in Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage environmental permitting documentation (local, regional, national).
- Develop EIA/VIA and screening reports.
- Ensure environmental compliance during development, construction, and operation.
- Use GIS tools to identify suitable areas for new renewable projects.
- Assess environmental and landscape constraints and manage related procedures.
- Coordinate specialist studies (flora–fauna, renaturalization, etc.).
- Evaluate project compatibility with planning instruments.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
- Liaise with authorities and external consultants.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or similar
- 5+ years of experience in environmental permitting for wind/PV projects.
- Strong knowledge of Italian environmental regulations and EIA/VIA processes.
- Proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS/ArcGIS), MS Office, and basic AutoCAD.
- Strong autonomy, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel.
