YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
In this role, you will perform routine engineering tasks that require a solid understanding of engineering principles. You will work on specific portions of projects using established methods, compiling, verifying, and correlating data related to engineering problems.
You will assist in preparing designs, studies, reports, and other project deliverables. This includes performing calculations, simulations, and preliminary analyses, as well as helping prepare material requisitions, specifications, and other project documents. Coordination with other technical personnel and support in developing project control documents and status reports will also be part of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of regulatory codes, standards, and design criteria relevant to renewable energy. This role is designed for individuals learning to become consultants or designers, capable of producing high‑quality work within scope, schedule, and budget. While you will receive guidance from senior engineers, you may also provide technical direction to others on specific tasks.
Key expectations include following through on commitments, ensuring accuracy in calculations, adhering to prescribed procedures, practicing safe work habits, communicating effectively, taking on a variety of tasks, and being open to feedback. Building a professional network across the business unit is encouraged, helping to support workload and career growth.
WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?
Candidates should have experience as a Project Engineer across both authorization and construction phases. You should be familiar with Hydrology (HEC‑RAS), Geology, and Geotechnical engineering, as well as renewable energy authorization processes in Italy. Design experience for PV, AgroPV, and onshore Wind plants is required, while experience with BESS and offshore Wind is a plus.
Additional experience in constraint analysis at national, regional, provincial, and local levels, along with Environmental Impact Assessment and landscape analysis, is highly valued. You should be proficient in software such as HEC‑RAS, AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office, and BIM.
Education & Experience
A degree in Environmental Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Languages
Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
