Finance Specialist (Jakarta)

DEME is a global solutions provider in a challenging and rapidly changing world and a world leader in the highly specialized fields of dredging and land reclamation, solutions for the offshore energy market, environmental and infra marine works. Our expertise and vast experience has been deployed over the centuries for Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering business solutions such as port construction and improving maritime access worldwide. We have been creating land for 150 years and will continue to do so in the future. Therefore we are looking for motivated candidates to reinforce our Finance department at our office in Jakarta.
If you follow a maritime education at a maritime institute and you are free during the Summer period for 4 weeks, it would be nice to get to know you during an internship! Technical Engineer – Safety by Design

Within our Safety by Design (SBD) team, you’ll join a small, highly technical group that looks at engineering from another angle: ensuring every vessel and installation is designed with safety, accessibility and maintainability in mind — from the first sketch to the final build. As a Technical Engineer – Safety by Design, you assess and improve the ergonomic design and technical safety of both newbuild and existing vessels and installations. You translate 2D plans into 3D insights, challenge project teams where needed and ensure all designs meet DEME’s Safety by Design standards.
Senior JAVA Developer with Jython Knowledge
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior JAVA developer with Jython knowledge, to expand our small Maximo application Team – split between Zwijndrecht and Chennai. You will be supporting current development, while also are open to a more versatile role of tackling configuration and integration demands within the platform in the future.
Process Manager – Gravel and Sand Production
The process manager for gravel and sand production of the DBM Vlissingen plant oversees the washing, crushing and screening of sand and gravel to produce aggregate of specified size for sale to e.g. the concrete industry. The manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in these processes, adjusting equipment and ensuring the production meets quality and safety standards. She/he also manages staff, coordinates production schedules with our shipping department, monitors inventory levels and ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
