Environment, Health and Safety Manager

We are currently supporting a leading international developer in the search for an experienced EHS Manager to support the delivery of a flagship hyperscale data center campus in Italy.

This is an exciting client side opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of Europe's most significant AI-ready data center developments, working closely with project leadership, contractors and the wider EHS team to drive exceptional safety performance across the project.

The Key Responsibilities of the EHS Manager:

• Lead day-to-day Health, Safety & Environmental activities across a major data center project.
• Partner with contractors and project teams to drive a proactive safety culture.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with company standards and local legislation.
• Carry out inspections, audits and incident investigations where required.
• Coach and support site teams to continually improve HSE performance.
• Ensure effective reporting, monitoring and communication of HSE performance.
• Promote continuous improvement and best practice across the project.

The EHS Manager will have:

• We're ideally seeking candidates who are fluent in Italian and have previous experience working within the Italian construction market. An established right to work in the EU is preferred.
• Proven experience within a Health & Safety leadership role on major construction or engineering projects.
• A strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, MEP or commissioning activities.
• Experience working on data center, power, utilities, industrial or energy projects would be highly advantageous.
• A recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g. ASPP RSPP, NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ideally based in Italy or with previous experience working within the Italian construction market, although this is preferred rather than essential.
