We are looking for an experienced HSE professionalto lead safety performance across our client's construction and manufacturing operations in Italy. While titled Director for legal compliance, this is a hands-on Manager-level role with real influence on culture, standards, and delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity to influence change, shape safety culture, and lead HSE practices within a dynamic, multinational environment. As HSE Director, you will be responsible for safety performance, compliance, and embedding a strong safety culture across the business. You'll lead a small team, collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead health, safety & environmental managementand drive incident prevention
- Ensure compliance with legislation and RSPP requirements
- Maintain SOPs and quality standards (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, SA8000)
- Drive change and implement process improvements
- Promote and embed a strong safety culture across the business
- Manage a small HSE team, including third party contractors
- Oversee incident tracking, reporting, and safety documentation
About You
- Proven experience delivering in HSE Manager
- Background within multinational construction or manufacturing environment driving continuous improvements, maintaining HSE standards, and monitoring performance
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation xdwybme and compliance requirements
- RSPP certificationessential combined withknowledge of ISO standards
- Proven ability to influence, lead change, manage teams, and build positive safety culture
- Experience working with subcontractors and project delivery
