As Enterprise IT Architect for the VisionPLUS card processing platform, you act as the technical authority and solution lead for the Italian client, guiding design decisions and governance while providing hands‑on support. You own the end‑to‑end technical landscape, drive complex incident resolution, and ensure high availability, security, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to deliver resilient, scalable payment solutions on mission‑critical systems.

• Act as the overall technical architect for VisionPLUS and its integrations
• Serve as primary senior technical contact for the client, handling complex queries and design discussions
• Lead major incident management with deep‑diving diagnostics and cross‑team coordination
• Provide hands‑on support for critical production issues across online and batch processing
• Design and govern distributed‑to‑mainframe integrations (APIs and middleware)
• Review and approve technical changes, enhancements, and release plans
• Mentor Advisor‑ and Engineer‑level team members
• Collaborate with product owners, operations, infrastructure, and vendor teams
• Ensure systems meet 24/7 availability, performance, and security requirements
• Contribute to resilience, automation, and technical debt reduction initiatives

Responsabilità

• Extensive experience with VisionPLUS in card processing environment
• Deep understanding of card lifecycle processing (authorisation, clearing, settlement, billing, disputes)
• Hands‑on expertise with mainframe tech (CICS, DB2)
• Experience designing and supporting API‑based and event‑driven integrations with mainframe systems
• Production support, incident management, and root‑cause analysis in 24/7 environments
• Ability to balance architectural ownership with hands‑on execution
• Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to participate in out‑of‑hours support for critical incidents
